On the morning of July 8th, 2023, I took the boat to Utö to meet up with Linn and Joel. Their fairytale archipelago wedding was blessed with amazing weather, perfect for ocean side portraits.
As I got off the boat and traveled to the bride’s accommodation, I was met with a calm ambience as the bride and her bridesmaids got ready. We took some photos of the preparations for both the bride and groom before the first look and portraits.
In the afternoon, a private boat heading to Dalarö picked up the bride, groom, and their crew for the ceremony at Dalarö church. The guests waited with anticipation and was met by a beautiful ceremony filled with love and joy. After the vows were spoken, the celebrations started on the boat ride back to Utö.
The dinner, with a real archipelago theme, was enjoyed at Utö Värdshus. Traditional Swedish snaps was served, and the guests really enjoyed the amazing performance by the toastmasters of the evening. As the night went on, the dinner turned into dancing and drinks in the nearby party venue.
